A gentle time that brings a smile
The simple and adorable animal figurines and patterns. Their rounded shapes are somehow gentle, and holding them in your hands brings a warmth that soothes the heart. The soft, hazy textures of the patterns and the warmth of the clay combine, enveloping you in a gentle atmosphere, as if you are gazing at a peaceful landscape.

Each piece is carefully shaped one by one using techniques such as tatara-zukuri (slab building), molds, and hand-building. The soft contours retain the marks of handwork, and the texture feels like the warmth of the clay. No two patterns or three-dimensional objects, drawn with a gentle touch, are exactly alike, and each possesses a quiet individuality.

The calm ivory and dark brown earth tones are soothing colors that evoke the warmth of the earth. Simply arranging them on your table softens the atmosphere and creates a quiet space in your busy day. They seem to calm your mind, making you want to take a deep breath.

Place your favorite cakes and baked goods on them for a leisurely tea time. The gentle patterns and three-dimensional objects watching over you will surely make your usual time a little warmer and more enjoyable. You might find yourself smiling naturally. These vessels gently deliver such tranquil happiness.

As each item is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, glaze unevenness, glaze pooling, slight wobbling, and patterns. Additionally, some items may show variations in glaze application, crazing, pinholes, or iron spots (black dots), but these do not affect their use. Please enjoy these unique expressions that are characteristic of handmade items. While you cannot choose which specific item you receive, we hope you will look forward to its arrival. If you are concerned, please feel free to contact us before shipping, and we can send you additional photos via email.

〇Since the product has been subjected to a sealing treatment, there is no need to boil it with rice water. However, due to the nature of the glaze, crazing may occur if hot water is poured into it. Stains that are difficult to remove with mild detergent may come off with a melaminesponge. |
