Collection: Watanabe Shinji

Shinji Watanabe established "Toko Ohgiya" (Pottery Studio Ohgiya) in Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture. He wanted to preserve the name of his family's hardware store, "Ohgiya," so he carried on the name as a pottery studio. Food is indispensable to daily life. He creates pottery with the belief that "tableware plays an important role in making the food served look more delicious and in creating the atmosphere of the dining table," in order to beautifully adorn the dining table and allow people to enjoy their meals.
