Gently alongside your daily life
Our works are cute and charming, born from a desire to be a comforting presence in your everyday life, and infused with a playful spirit. These vessels transform ordinary moments into something special.

Each piece is carefully shaped by hand, using a combination of throwing and slab building techniques. Paints and glazes are applied with a brush, then another layer of glaze is added. This painstaking process results in heartfelt creations that exude a deep and warm character.

As she says herself, she is drawn to the modern and functional designs of Scandinavia and Germany, as well as the deep, aged beauty of old objects. These essences are sprinkled throughout her creations. Each piece offers new discoveries with every glance and brings a sense of comfort with every use.

The smooth feel on your fingertips when you hold it, contrasted with its substantial and rustic texture, gives you a sense of communicating with the clay itself. These vessels naturally lift your spirits when you hold them, bringing a joyful and light touch to your dining table.

Due to their handmade nature, there are individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, glaze unevenness, glaze pooling, slight wobbling, and subtle variations in patterns and designs. Some items may also have differences in glaze application or crazing, but these do not affect their use. Please enjoy these unique characteristics as part of their handmade charm. While you cannot choose which item you will receive, we hope you will look forward to its arrival. If you have any concerns, please feel free to contact us before shipping, and we can email you additional photos.

| Recommended care and precautions from Kumiko Ishikawa |
| 〇 No pre-use sealing (medome) is required. 〇 If you are concerned about stains or absorption from dark-colored liquids, tea stains, or coffee, please use a dish detergent bleach or melamine sponge. As pottery is absorbent, rinse thoroughly with running water after using bleach. |
| Understanding "Tableware" |
|
〇 Due to being handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be color variations and shades. 〇 As each pattern is hand-painted, the expression may vary. 〇 Depending on the manufacturing process, some products may have small holes, black dots, fine scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbling, or distortions. 〇 While we process images to be as close to the actual color as possible, colors and textures may appear different depending on your computer or smartphone display. 〇 We deliver items that have passed not only the inspection of the manufacturer, kiln, or artist but also our final inspection. 〇 Product photos are taken from samples, so the item you receive may not be exactly the same in every detail. 〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges for customer convenience. Please understand and agree to this before purchasing. 〇 We hope you enjoy the "flavor" and "charm" unique to handmade items, which mass-produced factory goods do not possess! |
