A pleasing harmony of sophistication and warmth

These porcelain pieces boast the soft appearance of earthenware and a gentle, milky white color, along with a smooth texture that fits comfortably in your hand. Within their clean forms, there's a warmth that speaks of handmade craftsmanship, creating a pleasant feeling that makes you reach for them every day.

"Everyday tableware that people can use casually." With this sentiment in mind, these pieces are carefully crafted with thorough consideration given to usability, ease of holding, and even the feel against the lips. The gentle, blurred patterns created by the "washi-zome" technique, which transfers patterns drawn on Japanese paper to the bisque, and the deep rusty glaze applied to the rim, add a quiet charm to their simple designs.

The adorable animals look as if they're about to start chatting. The blurs and bleeding become part of the scene, making you smile when your eyes meet. This subtle playfulness brings gentleness and comfort to your daily life.

The more you use them, the deeper your affection will grow, and before you know it, they'll become an indispensable part of your life.

Recommended Care and Precautions from Toshiyuki Haramura

〇 Although both wheel-thrown and mold-formed, subtle distortions may occur due to being handmade. Mold-formed pieces tend to distort more easily, but we hope you can enjoy the unique handmade charm that results from this.
〇 The body is made of porcelain clay. Since porcelain is not absorbent, there is no need for boiling or sealing before initial use. You can use it as is. Black spots (iron particles) contained in the body may appear on the surface.
〇 Please refrain from using in microwaves or ovens. While rare, they may crack depending on the usage conditions.
〇 For removing stains such as tea stains, we recommend using kitchen bleach.

 Understanding "Tableware"
〇 As each item is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Additionally, even with the same glaze and clay, color variations and shades will occur.
〇 Since each painting is hand-drawn, the expression may vary.
〇 Depending on the manufacturing process, some products may have small holes, small black dots, fine scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbling, or distortions.
〇 While we process images to make the product photos as close to the actual color as possible, the color and texture may appear different depending on your computer or smartphone display.
〇 At our store, we deliver items that have passed not only the inspection of the manufacturer, kiln, and artist but also our final inspection.
〇 Product photos are samples, so the item you receive will not be identical in every detail.
〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer preferences. Please understand and acknowledge this before purchasing.
〇 We hope you will enjoy the "flavor" and "uniqueness" that are characteristic of handmade items, which are not found in mass-produced factory goods!
