The slight roughness of the texture. The black spots where iron in the clay rises to the surface during firing, or pinholes that suggest the vessel has "breathed." Due to being handmade, each piece will have individual differences in color, shape, size, thickness, weight, wobbling, glaze irregularities, glaze pools, inclusions/protrusions, and differences in patterns and designs. Additionally, depending on the application of the glaze, the firing color, pinholes, and iron spots (black spots) will vary, giving each piece a unique expression. Please be assured that these do not affect usability. Please enjoy them as unique expressions of handcrafted individuality.
