Gentle and comforting for your table
Soft, overlapping colors that look as if they were delicately painted with watercolors. The smoky tones and original matte glaze create an alluring, hazy expression within the calm hues. There is a gentle quality that exudes from these pieces, reminiscent of something nostalgic, helping you to instantly feel at ease.
Precisely because of the simple shape, the color combinations created by the varied glazing and the slight fluctuations from handcrafting are striking. It is the gentleness left by the touch of the maker that one can feel because they are not overly perfected. Every time you use them, you can discover a unique landscape in each vessel.
While they blend seamlessly into your everyday table, they make your usual meals feel just a little bit special. Whether it's breakfast toast, seasonal fruits, or dinner sides, these pieces look beautiful even when serving guests directly. Their presence is such that they not only brighten the table but also make you want to display them in your cupboard as part of your home décor when not in use.
The premonition that your usual meals are about to become a little more delightful. These vessels nestle into those casual, everyday moments, soothing your heart every time you use them. They are pieces that help you cherish ordinary days, rather than just for special occasions.
As each item is handmade, there are individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, glaze variations and pooling, stony textures, slight wobbliness, and subtle nuances in patterns. You may also find differences in glaze application, crazing, pinholes, or iron spots (black dots), but these do not affect usage. Please enjoy these as unique characteristics born from handcrafting. While you cannot choose which piece you will receive, we hope you look forward to its arrival. If you have any concerns, please contact us before shipping and we will be happy to email you separate photos.

| Recommended Care and Precautions from Mami Furukawa |
| 〇 Soaking in water for about 5-10 minutes before use can help prevent stains from seeping in. 〇 After washing, moisture remaining on the vessel can cause mold, so please dry thoroughly before storing. 〇 We hope you enjoy the gradual changes and deepening character as you use the piece over time. |
| Understanding "Handmade Vessels" |
|
〇 Because each piece is handmade, individual differences occur in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Even with the same glaze and clay, color irregularities and shading will appear. 〇 As the painting is done by hand, expressions may vary. 〇 Depending on the manufacturing process, small holes, tiny black spots, surface scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbling, or warping may be present. 〇 While images are color-corrected to be as close as possible to the actual item, the colors and textures may look different depending on your computer or smartphone display. 〇 We deliver products that have cleared final inspections at our shop, in addition to inspections by the manufacturer, kiln, or artist. 〇 Product photos are taken as samples; the product you receive will not be identical in every detail. 〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges for customer convenience. Thank you for your understanding. 〇 We hope you enjoy the "flavor" and "interest" unique to handmade goods that cannot be found in mass-produced factory items! |
