Gentle and comforting for your dining table
Soft layers of color that look as if they were gently painted with watercolors. The smoky colors and the artist's original matte glaze are charming, with a hazy, clouded expression nestled within the calm hues. There is a sense of kindness that exudes from them—something nostalgic that helps you instantly relax your shoulders.
Because the shape is simple, the combinations of color created by the layering of glazes and the slight variations from handcrafted work are striking. It is the gentleness left by the artisan’s touch, felt precisely because it is not overly perfected. Every time you use it, you can discover a unique landscape within the piece.
While blending seamlessly into your daily table, it makes your everyday meals feel just a little bit special. Whether it is breakfast bread, seasonal fruit, or dinner side dishes, they look beautiful even when serving food directly for guests. They not only color your table, but their presence is so lovely that when not in use, you will want to leave them on the cupboard shelf just to admire them as part of your life.
A premonition that everyday meals are about to become a little more delightful. While accompanying you through those casual moments, it helps to soothe your heart each time you use it. This is the kind of tableware that makes you cherish even the most ordinary days, rather than just keeping it for special occasions.
As each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, glaze unevenness/pooling, stone inclusions, slight wobbling, and subtle variations in patterns. Also, you may notice differences in glaze application, crazing, pinholes, or iron spots (black dots), but these do not affect usage. Please enjoy the rich, unique character that only handmade items possess. While you cannot choose which piece you will receive, we hope you look forward to its arrival. If you are concerned, please contact us before shipping and we will be happy to email you separate photographs.

| Understanding "Utsuwa" (Tableware) |
|
〇 Because each piece is handmade, individual differences occur in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, uneven color and shading will occur. 〇 As hand-painted designs are applied individually, expressions may vary. 〇 Depending on the manufacturing process, small holes, small black dots, line scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbling, or warping may be visible. 〇 We process images to make them as close to the actual product colors as possible, but colors and textures may look different depending on your computer or smartphone display screen. 〇 Our store delivers items that have passed not only the inspections of the manufacturers and artists but also our own final inspections. 〇 As product photos are taken using samples, the item you receive will not be identical in every detail. 〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges for customer convenience. Please understand and acknowledge this before purchasing. 〇 We hope you enjoy the "flavor" and "interest" unique to handmade items that are not found in mass-produced factory goods! |
